• Imara looks for a jeweler to complete a commission, and finds herself dealing with Suvyan -- a non-crafter but artisan none-the-less.

~~Day 02~~

RCWh

• Fawnia barges into Imara's office to vent some of her frustration with former Weyrleader M'larin to the Lady Weyrholder.

TRH

• While visiting the stables, the only "stallion" Emerilyn discovers there is Kieran's eldest son, Alliran, in a very compromising state of undress (not to mention adultery) with his stepmother, Eirene.

~~Day 03~~

ATS

• Koser finds a new astronomy "student" in Carine, a laundry worker, and introduces her to the Technical School's observatory.

FVSH

• Two of Ql'rin's siblings, Rollan and Karyna, have totally different reactions to being Searched for Zoryanth's clutch

TSS

• Sokel calls the healer when he discovers that Jyna is sick, and receives a surprising diagnosis.

~~Day 04~~

RCWh

• Following his first physical therapy session, Kr'lis' condition takes a very serious turn for the worst. Calling upon medical knowledge which is rarely used due to its very real risks of causing more harm than good, Master Preijan gives the young greenrider what he hopes will be his best chance for survival. Only time will tell if it was enough.
• T'rint and Ql'rin discuss the not so good news -- at least in Ql'rin's opinion -- from home about his brother and sister being Searched for Zoryanth's clutch.

~~Day 05~~

RCWh

• While at the Weyrhold's Technician's Building -- to get a lamp from the Weyrleader's office repaired -- Jr'vok meets a, seemingly, accident-prone, blue-riding technician. Harmless(?) flirtation follows.

FVSH

• Macnabbin approaches Raychal with a proposition -- and before she knows it, she's wedded and finding out what married life is all about.

~~Day 06~~

RCWh

• While Piyer and Mykhalin help Tokallya with changing out the bedding material in one of the animal sheds, Mykhalin gets some advice and a chance to vent about his roommate. And Piyer, unintentionally, gets to overhear some of what his roommate really thinks of him.

SPH

• Nacara realizes a dream-come-true when visiting bluerider M'lot Searches her.

~~Day 07~~

FVSH & RCWh

• Rollan and Karyna arrive at the Weyrhold and, after getting settled into the candidates' barracks, go to lunch in the dining hall with T'rint and Ql'rin.

~~Day 08~~

RCWh

• Four days after Kr'lis' stroke, Jr'vok pulls Falen away from the sleeping greenrider's bed to get a meal and to talk about the birds & bees side of being a male greenrider. While they are gone, there's another sudden change in Kr'lis' condition.
• Two Candidates newly from Fairview, Rahala and Karyna, meet after classes

• Macnabbin attempts a better understanding with his new bride, Raychal.

• Jyna and Sokel start to adjust to the idea of a new addition to their family, but wonder how their other children will react.

~~Day 10~~

RCWh

• Karyna approaches T'rint about planning a party at the Weyrhold for Ql'rin's twentieth birthingday.
• Karyna approaches Headwoman Nysolde about making arrangements for a birthingday party for Karyna's brother, Ql'rin.

~~Day 11~~

RCWh

• Kisha informs Tokallya that she is wanted by the healers for her candidate physical, and the two young women speak of life in the Weyrhold, Impression, and other matters.
• Two female dragonhealers, Grechel and Delrisa, escape the cold of Crater Island for an afternoon of relaxation and sexual exploration on a warm Istan beach.

~~Day 12~~

RCWh

• Rollan turns to his brother's weyrmate, T'rint, with some tough questions about what Impressing certain colors of dragons says about a guy's sexual preferences.

FVSH

• Seval and Marack hatch plans to attend the hatching of Zoryanth's clutch at the Weyrhold for reasons not entirely related to the hatching itself.

FVSH-TRH

• The bad blood between Kiemer and Kiell finally pushes Kieran to do the unthinkable to them as both a punishment and a means to hopefully end their fighting.

SPH-ATS

• While on Weyrhold business up at AIVAS Tech School at Star Peak Hold, Jr'vok bumps into Koser, an old friend and confidante, and they get to talking about their relationships -- or lack there of.

~~Day 13~~

RCWh

• Sevlyn takes a moment to meet with Z'reg in the Weyrling's Courtyard.
• A Candidate and her Searchrider touch bases, and wonder what will happen when the eggs start to crack

FVSH-TRH

• The two women in Holder Kieran's life -- his wife, Eirene, and his mistress, Emerilyn -- exchange a few words right before Eirene gets the bad news that her husband has placed her on a very short financial leash.

~~Day 14~~

RCWh

• T'rint reluctantly goes to the Infirmary for a routine checkup, but the visit ends up being anything but routine after Master Preijan introduces the bluerider to Kr'lis.

FVSH-TRH

• Can two holdbrats share a bedroom without driving each other crazy? Apparently not. Little has changed in the two days that Kiell and Kiemer have been sharing Kiemer's room.

~~Day 15~~

RCWh

• The Weyrleaders convene a routine meeting to discuss the upcoming hatching of ZS-1.
• D'ylen confronts his son, Braydan, about the boy's decision not to Stand for ZS-1's hatching, and Braydan leaves him no doubts as to why -- nor as to what he thinks of his father.
• After discovering that maybe going to the training room wasn't the brightest of ideas, Braydan gets his injured hand looked in the Infirmary only to have Georyn handoff his treatment to an apprentice: Kisha.
• T'rint's 6th Impression day and Ql'rin's 20th birthing day get off to a great start, but an unintentionally poor choice of words ends up changing the mood of the day.
• After a so-so birthingday, Ql'rin returns home as is forced to deal with the events of that morning between him and T'rint -- the bluerider having had made an off the cuff remark that unintentionally brought back painful memories for Ql'rin. The evening turns out different than either of them expected it to.

~~Day 16~~

RCWh

• Braydan goes to see Kisha in the Infirmary for a follow-up on his injured hand. Things between them this time don't go as either had expected or planned -- whether this is a bad thing or a good one remains to be seen.
• Following a physical therapy session with Y'shi in which he pushed himself too far, sucking it up and not complaining about the pain, Kr'lis finally breaks down in tears just as Falen comes in for a visit. In comforting Kr'lis, the two boys find themselves drawn to each other in unexpected ways.
• While heading to bed two greenriders, Kv'yes and C'ric, have an uneasy encounter.

• Nysolde and Z'reg get away from the Weyrhold and its pre-Hatching stress
• D'ylen welcomes D'rune, a bluerider transfering in from Ista Weyr, to the Weyrhold. D'rune's transfer turns out to be a part of a deal made between Ista and Rocky Crater's Weyrleaders to get the Weyrhold much needed supplies.
• D'rune accidently bumps into a greenrider in the dining hall, and gets in a few suggestive words and a rest day invitation from J'yce before J'yce's son, Jaeger, returns with dessert for himself and his father.
• D'rune finds Nysolde to get a weyr, and any advice she'd care to give
• While working out together in the training room, Kr'lis and T'rint have a heart-to-heart talk about several aspects of life.

~~Day 19~~

RCWh

• Frustrated by her dealings with M'larin and Fawnia, Imara visits Nysolde to regain perspective.
• T'rint discovers some of the hazards of having two of Ql'rin's siblings around thanks to several situations involving his weyr's bathing pool. Talk about hot water!
• Grechel gives D'rune a tour of the dragon infirmary.
• Mariska and D'rune have a relaxing first meeting
• D'ylen surprises Imara with a picnic getaway to someplace warm for her birthingday.

~~Day 20~~

RCWh

• Chiriklo and Rollan have a long talk in the necessary about the eggs and why each wants to be a dragonrider.
• D'rune puts in a second day of weyr-calls and mentions a possible treatment to T'rint

ATS

• Carine's desire to read gets her into trouble in her duties.
• Koser stumbles across Carine, still reeling from the head laundrywoman's rebuke, and offers her words of comfort.

~~Day 21~~

RCWh

• The hatching of Zoryanth's clutch wakes greenrider Kr'lis from his dreams. As he watches the goings on from an Infirmary window in the company of Falen, they discover that seventeen of the candiates aren't the only ones who are facing new lives after this night.
• Imara and D'ylen chat as they grab a quick mug of klah before going off to attend to their duties as part of Zoryanth's clutch's hatching.
• Before the hatching, M'larin and Fawnia make the rounds of their guests, and do their best to remind them that it's their clutch on the sands, and not Imara and D'ylen's.
• Just before the hatching, T'rint gets to meet two more of Ql'rin's siblings, and he also finally meets Jegur, Ql'rin's best friend and his first lover. Just when things couldn't get more awkward, Wyrraen shows up to exchange jabs -- verbal and physical -- with T'rint, Jegur, and Ql'rin.
• Seval ditches his family to meet up with Marack, and finally gets to meet some of the friends that Lady Imara's grandson had made on his trips to the Weyrhold.
• Just prior to the hatching Braydan and Kisha encounter D'ylen, an a few curt words are exchanged before a truce is reached for the sake of D'ylen's youngest son, Jaedan, but the damage was done -- as it were -- pushing Kisha to take a great risk for Braydan's sake.
• Jr'vok welcomes Koser to the Weyrhold just prior to the hatching, and tells him what he's been able to discover thus far in terms of a possible arranged marriage of convenience for the Starsmith. Fate, however, intervenes and side tracks Koser.
• Zoryanth's eggs Hatch, giving the Weyrhold seventeen new weyrlings.
• The morning after the hatching, while most of the Weyrhold is celebrating, Mykhalin goes off to work in the stables, and unexpectedly encounters his roommate, Piyer, there -- Piyer having failed to Impress yet again.
• Following ZS-1's hatching, Braydan and Kisha decided to blow off the Feast and go off somewhere private together. However, her grandmother, Imara, catches up with them before they can.
• Following the hatching, Kr'lis decides to attend the hatching feast with his friend, Falen, so that Falen won't miss out on the feast on his accord.
• Following ZS-1's hatching, D'ylen and Imara get into a bit of a heated debate over his attitude towards his sons, and D'ylen's opinions about eldest son Braydan's relationship with Kisha, Imara's granddaughter.
• Fawnia and M'larin exchange heated words behind fake smiles as they try to pin the blame on the other for the unimpressive number of bronzes in ZS-1's clutch. They manage to return to a cease fire state just in time to butt heads with the Weyrleaders.
• T'rint comforts his weyrmate's sister, Karyna, after she fails to Impress from Zoryanth's clutch.
• Koser and Jegur head off to the guest quarters that Koser's friend had arranged for him, and they proceed to get to know each other better.
• Rahala and Wiysath receive their first instructions from the Weyrlingmaster

~~Day 22~~

RCWh

• Braydan and Kisha go to meet with Kisha's grandmother, Imara having had invited them after they'd failed to Impress from Zoryanth's clutch. To their surprise, Imara is willing to give them something that D'ylen, Braydan's father, was adamantly opposed to.

~~Day 23~~

RCWh

• Kr'lis happily informs T'rint that Falen does have feelings for him.
• Several days after failing to Impress at ZS-1's hatching, ex-candidate Karyna goes to see Headwoman Nysolde about a room assignment and getting a job in the kitchens.

~~Day 24~~

RCWh

• Gr'vael and Or'bel have another fight over the greenrider's feelings for Gr'vael, but this time it ends on better terms.

• Glavin encounters Evony again, and they have an emotional chat which is interrupted by her mother dragging her off back to her home.

• Kierall rescues Amiet from her so-called friend, and takes her the stagecoach tavern -- where no lady would be caught dead unescorted -- to hide.
