• Eirene learns of where her husband, Kieran, really is and, with the help of Kielissa, sets about getting her revenge on him and Emerilyn -- in style, of course.

PRSH

• As they get ready for Kieran's grandniece's wedding, he and Emerilyn talk to Kr'lis about his dragon's uneasiness, and surprise the weyrling with a present for his fifteenth birthday. But the surprise is nothing compared to the unpleasant one of Eirene's unwelcomed arrival.
• Nightmares turn to reality as a slivery haze spreads over Paradise River Sea Hold.
• Ql'rin sounds the alarm at Monaco Bay about the Thread falling over Paradise River Sea Hold. The combined forces of four Weyrholds answer the call, 'timing-it' to arrive shortly after the start of the Fall. Unfortunately, they arrived too late to save some victims.

Murtrem Mining Hold

• Gr'vael and Or'bel go to check up on a weyrling's family, only to find no family and little else but one very frightening possibility.

MBWH

• Ql'rin sounds the alarm at Monaco Bay about the Thread falling over Paradise River Sea Hold. The combined forces of four Weyrholds answer the call, 'timing-it' to arrive shortly after the start of the Fall. Unfortunately, they arrived too late to save some victims.

RCWh

• Kr'lis and Eberith return to the Weyrhold badly injured by Thread, leaving the weyrleaders to wonder where he'd been, and what to do now -- for him, and for Pern.
• Rymer, Ql'rin's blue firelizard, is injured by Thread and returns home to be treated by T'rint while Ql'rin flies the Fall, returning home several hours later to a world turned upside down and inside out.
• The healers treating Kr'lis' Threadscores realize that it'll take far more riskier things that numbweed and sutures to treat his critical injuries.

SPO

• News of the Threadfall at Paradise River reaches Star Peak Observatory.

HWH

• Imara visits Honshu in hopes that another person had a pin similar to her granddaughter's and finds that Normia and Kirmin had attended the ill-fated wedding at Paradise River Seahold.

• X'ram's reaction to Threadfall and the like
• Rocky Crater's rankers gather to discuss the Weyrhold's reaction to Threadfall.
• Imara tells Kisha and Nysolde of the death of her granddaughter, Normia, in Threadfall, and makes arrangements to bring Normia's baby to the Weyrhold.
• Braydan's grandmother comes for a visit bringing sad news, and then takes him to the Weyrhold proper to comfort Kisha.
• D'ylen spends the night with Imara, comforting her in her grief
• Kieran and Emerilyn get to see Kr'lis for the first time since he was Threadscored at Paradise River.

Fort Weyr

• The leaders of Pern's Weyrs and Weyrholds gather to discuss how to address the ages old threat that has returned to Pern, and to report on the findings of their sweepriders.

PRSH

• It's the morning after Threadfall at Paradise River and tensions are running high. And just when Kieran thinks it can't get worse, it does.

SPH

• Rocky Crater's Weyrleaders attend a meeting with Star Peak Hold's acting Lord Holder, and his Holders and Craftmasters about the return of Thread and what the Hold needs to do to prepare for it.

SPO

• Imara visits her family at Star Peak Observatory and tells them of the death of her granddaughter.

Timber Ridge Hold

• Kieran, Emerilyn, and Eirene return home to Timber Ridge the day after Threadfall at Paradise River, and Kieran informs his family of the deaths of his sister's family, and Kr'lis' injuries.

• Imara arranges to foster her great-granddaughter with Jaella, and asks Nysolde to provide Jaella with a crib and other supplies.
• A Smith transferring in from Monaco Bay holds the potential to turn T'rint and Ql'rin's lives upside down.

• More of Monaco Bay's evacuees arrive at Rocky Crater, including one of the survivors from Murtrem Hold.
• In the Dragon Infirmary, Delrisa and Grechel talk Eberith into drinking some water in the name of helping her rider. Afterwards, they talk about where they were from, and agree to go hunting for new faces together at dinner. But is it a date, or a ~date~?
• Mykhalin, and three weyrbrats from Monaco Bay Weyrhold settle into their new home at Rocky Crater: room 3317.

FVSH

• Ql'rin goes to Fairview Seahold to suspend his apprenticeship and to collect Falen, a drudge, who is moving to the Weyrhold

• Fawnia, showing signs of proddiness, goes on the prowl and returns to her den with a Monaco Bay bronzerider, D'veck, as her night's entertainment.

• A simple surprise trip to a winter wonderland with his son holds far more surprises than J'yce ever imagined and presents him with a second and final chance to find closure on a chapter of his life.

• Imara has to leave the Weyrhold when Fawnia's queen, Zoryanth, rises to mate. To her surprise, D'ylen has forced an annoyed Olwynth out of the Weyrhold as well, the Weyrleader underscoring his lack of interest in Rocky Crater's most junior goldrider.
