• T'rint and Ql'rin share a special homemade meal in Ql'rin's weyr to mark their one month anniversary.

• Kisha joins Riaska for an afternoon to find out about weavercraft.

• Once again Kisha and D'ylen cross paths in a hallway. In their exchange of formal pleasantries he learns that she knows his son, Braydan.
• Kisha visits Daellyn to learn about tannercraft and to be measured for the jacket her grandmother ordered.

SPH

• Rhileda tends to Tobey's injured hand while his brother, Arlan -- the cause of his injury -- looks on in amusement..
• The new Holder Protem looks over plans for the Turn's End Gathering.

• J'yce decides to help T'rint with his exercises, and suggests some other diversions, but T'rint turns him down.

• Kisha wanders near as K'gan is bathing Voth and decides to help.

~~Day 06~~

RCWh

• K'gan is caught raiding the kitchen for late-night snacks and told to report to Nysolde.
• Nysolde tells Imara of the punishment she has meted out for K'gan.
• Nysolde tells the Weyrlingmaster of her punishment for one of his weyrlings, and the two decide to take some time off to relax.

• Macnabbin visits the Weyrhold with Mariska and does quite a bit of exploring within her weyr.
• Nysolde informs Weyrleader D'ylen of Weyrling K'gan's punishment. She goes on to call the Weyrleader on the rug for wearing an old shirt that's unbefitting of his rank. D'ylen, it turns out, is willing to do anything to keep it, including mad and passionate lovemaking?!
• T'rint and Ql'rin go shopping for clothing, and along the way Ql'rin discovers that T'rint's feelings for him run deeper than he'd consciously realized.

• D'ylen rescues Imara from working late into the night, accompanying her back to her weyr for some quiet time in front of a warm fire. Unfortunately, there is no saving her from D'ylen's awful sense of humor.

SPO

• Markish's latest assignment for Glavin is handed out with a demoralizing assessment of the apprentice's work. The sting of that was later lessened by some insight from Kishnor, Markish's son.

FVSH-TRH

• Kieran meets Emerilyn and they plan a getaway for just the two of them. At breakfast, they discover that their children have been the targets of some cruel teasing.

• Jyna and Sokel argue about their daughter once more, but eventually decide to compromise and try to get along with each other.

• Braydan pays a visit from the farm and seeks out Kisha. While stopping in the dining room for a quick lunch, they encounter Kisha's grandmother, and have an uncomfortable meal with D'ylen and Imara. Afterwards, they find a way to delay their plans to spend the afternoon exploring the caves.

• J'yce goes to speak with Daellyn about a Turn's End gift for their son, and she agrees for the three of them to spend the holidays together, as a family. Then things take a decidedly unexpected turn when he gives her a thank you kiss.

• Jerriott takes some time out to read the latest letter from his mother and to contemplate his reply concerning her request

• Emerilyn seeks out Kieran in the stable to discuss some plans for their getaway, but the two are interrupted by the arrival of Alliran.

• Kisha goes to D'ylen's weyr looking for Braydan, but finds only Dany. As they discuss their secret, Imara walks in on them.
• Braydan overtakes Kisha as she is fleeing from the encounter with D'ylen and Imara and comforts her -- though he has no idea what is bothering her.
• Nysolde follows Imara and finds out about D'ylen and Kisha.
• D'ylen and Nysolde talk about the fight that he'd had with Imara.

• Lysia has a brief but intereting encounter with Jyna at Fairview's Market stalls.
• Ql'rin heads home to Fairview Seahold to visit with his family before the Turnover holiday -- which he plans to spend with T'rint. During his visit, his mother gives him a great deal to think about

RCWh

• After his visit to Fairview Seahold, Ql'rin returns with gifts and food for the long holiday. His mother's words haunt his thoughts as he and T'rint prepare lunch. Erelth and Hazalith have their own gifts to share with the other's rider.
• Despite the rift between them, Imara decides to give D'ylen the birthing day gift she'd commissioned for him anyway.
