- It's the first day of Turnover, it's snowing, there are presents waiting to be unwrapped, and T'rint and Ql'rin are snuggled comfortably in bed together. So all is right with the world... right?
FVSH-TRH
- Binna interviews a young woman with the intention of finding her brother a wife to keep him away from his dragonrider friend.
SPH
- The Turn's End Ball at Timber Ridge Hold begins with the usual level of distress for Kieran, Emerilyn, Eirene, the rest of the Holder's family.
- The icy depths of Eirene's heart briefly warm and melt as she and her lover watch their sleeping newborn daughter, Irekie.
- Kr'lis makes plans to spend the night at Emerilyn's house at Timber Ridge due to the inclement weather at the Weyrhold, then talks to his younger half-brother about the attitudes of those who live at the main hold.
- Imara and D'ylen travel to Star Peak Hold's Gather, and are welcomed by Nykolas, son of the Hold's ailing Lord Holder.
- Braydan and Kisha visit the Turnover Gather at Star Peak Hold where they are accosted Kisha's mother, Norka, while shopping.
- Mariska transports Macnabbin and his daughter to the Gather at Star Peak Hold, where the three make some unusual purchases.
- Nysolde and Z'reg enjoy the Turn's End Gather by shopping, sampling some wine, and flirting.
~~Turn's Beginning~~
RCWh
- Ql'rin's Hazalith rises to mate at the tail end of the blizzard, leaving tension, hurt feelings, and raw emotions in her wake.
- After losing Hazalith's mating flight, D'ylen has a heated exchange with Fawnia, although it turns out not to be the kind of exchange the junior goldrider had been hoping for.
- Imara takes an angry Rynth from Rocky Crater after Hazalith's flight. They visit the weyrwoman's granddaughter at Honshu, where they receive a special request.
